This draft documents the intended platform rules and safeguards. North Carolina counsel and counsel in each launch state must approve the final version before live transactions begin.
Information collected
Account identity, contact details, requested roles, business or professional-verification evidence, property and field data, uploaded documents, bids, agreements, payments, support cases and audit events may be collected when the corresponding feature is used. Public spray notices and advertisements use a reduced public data set. Precise private field records and exact apiary locations are not public by default.
How information is used
Information is used to operate listings and auctions, verify eligibility, prepare agreements and farm-record exports, process approved payments, prevent fraud, deliver requested notifications, moderate advertisements and comply with recordkeeping duties. Ruopta does not request or store Farmers.gov or Login.gov passwords.
Location and advertising
A visitor may choose to share browser location to request advertisements within an approved radius. The current advertising request does not persist the browser coordinates in the advertisement response. If no market is known, Ruopta shows its own message instead of a distant paid campaign.
Sharing
Data is shared only with parties and service providers needed for a requested transaction, verification, delivery or legal duty. Client funds, identity checks, electronic signatures, USDA submissions, SMS and insurance verification will not be enabled until the relevant provider terms and disclosures are approved.
Retention and rights
Retention periods will follow applicable brokerage, auction, tax, contract and dispute requirements. Final production procedures will include access, correction, deletion where permitted, export and appeal requests, plus documented legal holds.
Security
Structured records are stored in the application database. Files enter private quarantine, are served with restrictive headers and remain unavailable until security review. Role changes, moderation, document decisions and payment events are audit logged.

The production notice will identify the operating entity, privacy contact, mailing address, state-specific rights and effective date before launch.
